The Lookout is an interesting idea not quite processed enough. If they had taken the time to do a little more work on the script, it could very well have been a completely different movie. Not to mention they could probably have attracted better actors to the the work, cause there's not enough quality in the cast.
This is a crime drama trying to be thrilling, but failing on both the thrilling and dramatic parts. Also the crime part is flawed, but at least they know what they are working towards with that part of the story.
When the movie ended all I could think about was the possibilities this had to make something really engaging and special, and that's a proof they didn't manage to make the cut even.
