Away We Go is one of those movies I'd like to really enjoy, but no matter how much I'd like them to succeed in making it entertaining I can't escape the fact it never actually managed to capture me at all.
Burt and Verona are great leads, but why on earth would the screenwriters go so over and beyond with every other character in the movie? It doesn't help the story, it doesn't balance the good in the leads and it doesn't make it more believable or more fiction than it could be.
Burt and Verona's search for a place to call home could have been both entertaining and/or well worth a movie, but this attempt wasn't.
