Breaking Up is a story in no rush to be told. I understand the idea behind making it, but can't applaud the decision to go through with it. It's very flawed in everything from plot to acting, and I'm a guy who thinks Salma Hayek is hot and Russell Crowe often does well.
It never manages to keep the audience's interest, it takes steps in the wrong direction on several occasions and the arguing annoys us as much as each other way to often.
