Waiting...

Adolescent and meaningless, much like the life at Shenaniganz. In the spirit of Kevin Smith's Clerks, debut writer and director Rob McKittrick takes us to work at a restaurant filled with characters. While most of us recognize parts of former friends, girlfriends or classmates in these people, you really don't wanna mess with the people handling your food.

The script isn't as tight as I'd liked, but overall it works pretty well. Some scenes would have done better left in the editing room, others lack to push it up to what it really could have been. Still. The cast is pretty good, even if I still don't get why Long get so much work. The lack of a story was done a lot better in both Clerks and Dazed and Confused, but I've seen it done a lot worse as well.

Haven't watched anything else from either the hands or mind of McKittrick, but hopefully he'll manage to take the necessary extra steps for his next project.
