The Slaughter Rule
Both Morse and Gosling acts very well throughout, but the story isn't worth the paper the script was written on. Clea DuVall is also as always enchanting in her own way. It's not as much a sport-movie as it's a drama, but the drama spends a little too much time with the sport. Throughout one of the most annoying things about it then, is the fact neither we nor the directors seems to care about the game at all.
In some ways a coming of age story, but it most ways an uninteresting tale of a rather uninteresting main character.
