The Island (2005)

The Island

I've never denied being easy like Sunday morning, and I've got few problems spending a couple of hours in the company of any character portrayed by Scarlett Johansson. I find Micheal Bay gets to much crap about his movies, as they usually are entertaining popcorn flicks without pretending to have a deeper purpose. This time around he does however, and he doesn't quite have the ability to balance it out.

The Island comes of as both an interesting concept and a morale question worth exploring these days more than ever. This movie is however to long for the plain experience it turns out to be.
