Trucker (2008)

Trucker

It's a fairly well known recipe, but Trucker adds a little more depth than most of its kind and a lot better cast than usual. James Mottern shows real promise with his first feature length movie as both writer and director, but surely the cast including Monaghan and Fillion helps a lot.

Despite being a safe ride, Trucker rarely feels tiring or boring. On the other hand it never manage to take us to the heights it should have to really stand out. It feels like more of a promise of greater things to come from Mottern, and another nice addition to the ever growing reasons to keep a close eye at Monaghan who's talent seems to match her beauty.
